Pretentious livejournal entries remind me of the ramblings of psychotic schizophrenic people on Law & Order: SVU. 

No, really.  That's what they sound like.  Like the one who talked only in terms of chemical reactions and thought there were terrorists invading her mind.  They also remind me of the guy in the grocery store the other day who was in front of me in line, with his seemingly mentally able daughter who nonetheless did nothing to help anything, who kept shooting his fingers out in strange directions and then could not understand that he had no money on his card. 

Like, cute?  Not really.  If anything it's offensive to people who actually have mental illness, because you are clearly just a stupid 16-year-old who thinks she's profound.  Blah blah blah dainty angsty blah blah. 

Hilariously, she watches SVU.  Maybe it's intentional.

Also:  I accidentally got regular instead of low-fat cream cheese and now I'm really angry because it's like a billion times tastier than low-fat cream cheese.  :(

i am delusional right now, so i can't write much.

but of course regular cream cheese tastes better. i almost always buy regular everything for this reason (esp. with things that take out the sugar! mother fuckers...). some things this is not true of, but yeah. in any case, it does not increase my weight. maybe it keeps me from losing it, but I don't give a fuck. then again, i don't eat much cream cheese. but fat and grease makes everything taste better. in moderation. i don't recommend eating tubs of lard. ew.

actually, i was laughing out loud in the library, where such things are forbidden. but not at my original comment, which really is the result of delusion. which is currently dissipating somewhat with the onset of Midol. if onset is the wrong word, i'm sorry.

Sometimes I think EVERYONE here is like that, and then I remember the few sane people...I feel like it's a class thing insofar as higher class is related to a certain sort of sheltered worldview, excess leisure time, not having to do much yourself, general daintiness, problems that aren't problems, etc. Sheltered is probably the best word. in the same way that younger people tend to be more naive, sheltered. and women, ha ha.

I used to because that was when I was weaning myself from MTV. Then I discovered regular Law & Order, and Law & Order: Criminal Intent, which are much better, and SVU got really melodramatic and stupid. And now I watch for the lulz (i.e., can little miss perfect survive in prison where she gets beaten up? can little miss perfect save the 9-months-pregnant wife of her partner whom she is in love with? can little miss perfect outsmart the feds to rescue her longlost half-brother who's been falsely accused of murder?)
