auto-tune the news

Yeah, so apparently the Gregory Brothers have been doing this for a long while (auto-tuning the news), but the Atlantic Wire just clued me in today.  These two are my favorites of the batch (watch them in order).  The first one was actually made in 2009, so it's just coincidence that Bachmann is front and center.  And you can never go wrong with turtles.

That's great. My mom didn't really get the auto-tune thing. But I have now added "you shall build a turtle fence" to my tags. Still not sure what I'll use it for! Maybe international development. Or immigration. Something that involves building something else.

(Personally, I'm freaked out when I realize I've started three sentences in a row with "I," which sometimes happens.)

jon (anthro prof) shared it on FB, and I clicked. his caption was something about not knowing if it was a sign of the end times.

i like the lettuce one mostly b/c it really works as an (annoyingly) catchy song for me, and i find it pretty consistently funny, although...dunno if i'd like the guys who made it in person.

Yeah, same here. I mean, I don't know if I'd like 'em either. They seem like the kind of people I wouldn't get along with, because I'm too weird and introverted, haha.
