Stanford Tree, Mascot

I hope to have an actual post sometime, but for now, I had to share this.  The Tree is actually pretty douchey, but this, I think, is a lovely picture.  Found via one of those weird mascot lists.  I don't see why they put Li'l Red on there though.  I mean, The Tree is clearly way weirder.

He's got a writing project on that sounds fascinating--if you leave a comment for him at his website, maybe he can friend you and then you can read about it in the comment thread at the LJ feed (oh, but man, I'm making myself tired thinking just about all those steps ... never mind... there's more in life than chasing after other people's writing projects. When he writes and publishes his book, we can both read it.)

Both. There's another short story I need to send off as a submission but I'm too nervous so I keep delaying it. Urgh.
