be a simple kind of man

I have changed my layout to celebrate the advent of summer.  It is now called "Highway Star", and is a combination of Kate Moss in an old-school racecar helmet and the cover for Depeche Mode's album Singles 86-98.  The title of the journal is that of a song by Garbage, and the navigation links come from "Personal Jesus", by Depeche Mode.  I hope that this layout exemplifies the Interstate variant of Nebraskan Gothic - apparently my new theme of life. 

In order to preserve simplicity, I have eliminated my links list, my calendar, my page summary, and my free text blurb.  Another policy: I will no longer list "current music" or "current location".  I will still list "tags" because I do find tags a useful means of organization, and on occasion I will still specify mood.
