my life plan.
1. 3-9 months in Nebraska; vacation with mother, writing, working at Podunk Job.
2. 2 years in Peace Corps.
3. 2 years at D.C. Graduate School; Master's in International Affairs, work/intern at Non-Profit/Think Tank.
4. Foreign Service, God willing. If not accepted will continue to work at Non-Profit/Think Tank until accepted.
Think I've figured out why I like air crash investigations. Because there are (usually) no bad guys, just bad luck and incompetence and accidents and a lack of information. And that's what happened to my father. No one to blame, and that's the way the world is. Villains are a luxury.

also, that's an interesting reason to like air crash investigations...

Yeah, the reason just dawned on me the other night. And I think it's why air crashes are so very sad, because no one means to do it (the ones where terrorism is involved bore me).
