Basically, us academic folks lead privileged lives we do not deserve because we are unfairly profiting from class distinctions and social hierarchy, so we should hate ourselves and entertain fantasies of giving up this self-indulgent life of the mind and becoming a homeless person, because that would make the world more just--everybody equal, in the dirt, no more intellectual elitism.
