Ok, ok, I thought of something of substance to add. Hope you don't mind crazy multiple comments. Here goes.
I don't think it matters whether or not it is even-handed. Probably the fact that so many people are sensitive to the possibility that it is not even-handed or even (!) against the 99%ers goes to show that they are not receptive to movies that do not agree with their good American populism. That might be different, granted, if it had something of substance to say about "1%/99% relations," which I gather it does not. But people are gonna react to an simple image with a simple 'dislike' (or 'like', I guess, if they are big into the 1%?), and that's about all there is to it. Not that you're saying there's more. But I feel like the only way to judge a movie like that is to judge it for not saying more, or for trying to say too much.
