"Equal treatment" reminds me of that driving class I had to go to when I totaled my car, where the police officer teaching talked about how annoyed he was when people slowed down in front of him, and one black man in the class, when we introduced ourselves with why we were there, was like "I was driving four miles above the speed limit."
