I love both soundtracks as well, and even liked the sequence in New Moon where the "Hearing Damage" was played (though in the words of my friend who went to see it with me "half the acting talent in the franchise died of a heart attack during that song")

Also, a what you said regarding Splice. Yeah, uncomfortable, definitely problematic, but not... deserving of all the hate it seems to be getting.
