Well self-reliance involves not relying on tradition, social conformity, or a husband. Self-respect...I could go on, but no time. I know you didn't say it, but it's the vibe I'm getting. I'm not sure why else you would assume I think insulting women is okay? I dunno, I guess the reduction of my argument to some pre-established prejudice against women seems like something you would obviously dislike, and for good reason, if that was the case.
