Just because I don't like how it sounds. It sounds like you're using fancy or silly language to avoid a more direct, vulgar curse.
I suppose I fail to see how they relate to women. Historically, of course they do. But I fail to see how anyone's individual use of such a term means they think lowly of women.
I admit I get confused here sometimes, though. And I'm also shutting off my email client so I can get some work done, so I'll continue this later.
