Hector's death still makes my stomach clench up :-(

What do you mean when you say it's a problem for you in your writing? Do you mean you have a problem writing things in which a major character dies, or do you mean, contrarywise, that you yourself kill off major characters? (I haven't noticed either thing in what I've read from you.....)
