But...we started this conversation with me saying that I enjoy most movies, but rarely do I get one that does that for me, and you saying you were much more volatile about it, and I was like your mother... I don't turn off movies either. And I do enjoy them. But they don't leave any lasting impression, they float in and out of my existence without developing me as a human being. That's all. Like, enjoyment is nice, but it's not what I live for.
And I can't always tell when you're playing devil's advocate, either... But then, I haven't been the most committed to what I've said here either. Like I took up Romantic Art when I don't really have that ideal of Art.
