Sometimes I think EVERYONE here is like that, and then I remember the few sane people...I feel like it's a class thing insofar as higher class is related to a certain sort of sheltered worldview, excess leisure time, not having to do much yourself, general daintiness, problems that aren't problems, etc. Sheltered is probably the best word. in the same way that younger people tend to be more naive, sheltered. and women, ha ha.
