I made a red velvet cake! Semi-recently! but i forgot to put in the vanilla, and i messed up the baking soda and vinegar mixing, so too little baking soda got in (though the baking powder was fine--this recipe needed both, for the cocoa, which comes in two types, one of which reacts with baking soda, the other with baking powder. go figure)...it was perfect otherwise, but it turned out kinda...funny. but still edible. you just had to take thin slices 'cause it was really heavy. frosting wasn't too bad though. that was a really long tangent, sorry. but i bet if i made one now it'd turn out!!
