seeing as how I've managed to create for myself the ultimate third-world-studies degree at Barnard/Columbia, despite an incredible over-emphasis on the Cold War, the U.S., and imperial first-world powers (the key: development economics + society-centric environmental science + non-war, globalization-based international relations) ... this seemed relevant.

it's supposed to be a sustainable hotel - the Songjiang Hotel of China. I doubt it'll work as well as it wants to, but it's cute how en vogue sustainability has become. And it's a pretty picture - reminds me of the space photos I accumulated sophomore year of high school.
